Meet Jess Fitzgerald—someone who believes confidence in your future comes from being informed, prepared, and supported, not from luck. Jess Fitzgerald State Farm is proud to host Good Neighbor events and stay actively connected to the Grand Rapids community. With more than 25 years at State Farm, Jess brings deep, firsthand experience shaped by her early years as a claims adjuster and policy specialist. Her passion for this work began even earlier, at age 18, when she bought her first home and had to navigate finances and responsibility on her own. That experience still drives why she loves being an agent—to be the knowledgeable, approachable friend she once needed herself. Jess began her career with State Farm during that same season of life and has truly enjoyed serving people ever since.

Education has always been an important part of Jess’s journey. She earned her B.B.A. with a major in personal finance from Western Michigan University, followed by a Master’s degree from Cornerstone University. Today, she enjoys helping people understand their overall financial picture, including Auto Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Life Insurance, Business Insurance, and liability coverage, along with ways to prepare for the future. Outside the office, Jess is married, a mom of three, and a proud grandmother to two grandchildren. When she’s not working, you’ll often find her enjoying outdoor adventures, playing sports, reading, or spending time with family and staying involved in the community.
